about dr. skull f*ck

Skull F*ck is a high-potency ammonia-based inhalant formulated for athletes who need an immediate, no-nonsense sensory jolt. Unlike generic capsule brands, it's built for repeated, controlled use in training and competition environments — with a formula that's consistent batch to batch.

That depends on how often you use it and how tightly you seal it after each session. With proper storage - cap tight, room temp, no moisture - a standard bottle provides dozens of uses. Leaving it open even briefly accelerates ammonia off - gassing and reduces potency.

Skull F*ck Salts deliver the intensity you need to show up and perform. The Apothecary line - from bath bombs to bath salts - is here for when the work is done and restoration takes over. Every athlete has two sides - the one that attacks, and the one that recovers. We've got you either way.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct moisture and humidity. Keep bath bombs sealed until use - exposure to air and moisture will trigger the reaction early. Bath salts should be kept in a sealed container to preserve freshness and fragrance potency.

Store tightly sealed, at room temperature, away from heat and moisture. If yours arrived compromised, contact us with a photo and your order number.

Epsom salt soaks are a staple post-training ritual for athletes. Warm water immersion supports relaxation of tired muscles, and many athletes incorporate regular soaks into their recovery routine. These products are cosmetic - they are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any condition.

Fill your tub with warm water, drop in the bath bomb or add 1–2 cups of bath salts, and soak for 15–20 minutes. For a stronger soak, use warmer water and allow the salts to fully dissolve before getting in. Rinse off lightly afterward if you have sensitive skin.

Hold the open bottle 4–6 inches from your nose and take one sharp, controlled inhale. Do not inhale directly from the bottle or hold it against your nostril - the concentration is intense by design. One deliberate breath is all you need. Repeat use within the same session will diminish the response.

Most athletes use them immediately before a max-effort lift, a heavy set, a sprint, or any movement requiring full CNS engagement. They work best as an activation cue rather than a general warm-up tool - think of them as flipping the switch from preparation mode to execution mode.

No - they serve a different purpose. Pre-workout and caffeine support sustained energy and endurance over a training session. Smelling salts deliver a sharp, 5–15 second acute arousal spike. Many athletes stack them: use your pre-workout as usual, then reach for Skull F*ck in the moments that matter most.

Current research shows no measurable improvement in one-rep max or direct strength output from ammonia inhalants. What they do reliably produce is a rapid spike in alertness and arousal - and for many athletes, that psychological edge, the ability to lock in and execute under fatigue, is exactly the point.

We recommend limiting use to 1–2 inhalations per session, spaced at least 15–20 minutes apart. Repeated use in rapid succession reduces the stimulation response and can cause unnecessary airway irritation. Quality over quantity - save it for the lifts that count.

When used as directed - at the proper distance and in controlled doses - smelling salts are generally well-tolerated by healthy adults. Avoid overuse or direct inhalation from the bottle. People with asthma, reactive airways, or respiratory conditions should consult a doctor before use. Not recommended for anyone recovering from a head or spinal injury.

Caution is warranted. The ammonia vapor can irritate airways and trigger bronchospasm in people with asthma or other respiratory conditions. Consult your doctor before using any ammonia-based inhalant if you have a history of airway sensitivity.

You can, but we'd encourage you to be strategic. Regular use as a ritual cue can work well psychologically, but the physiological response diminishes with frequency. Most experienced athletes reserve smelling salts for peak intensity efforts - competition, PRs, or final working sets - rather than every session.
